As a Vikings fan, this was the level of happiness I felt. Wasn’t filming, but I jumped around and my brother-in-law (who is a Packers fan) ran over and I jump/hugged him and he held me up like dirty dancing (he’s fuckin strong). Then set me down and I did the McKinnon arm windmill/swim across my house to the basement where my dad was watching and he was jumping up and down (about a 2” vert) and CRYING his eyes out (his die hard Vikings fan Dad passed away before they ever won) and we just stood their hugging and he was sobbing, “we needed this. We needed this. We needed this.”

It’s been a hard life as a Minnesota sports fan. (I was born in Dec ‘91 so no one has won in my life.

My sister and Mom and GF and brother-in-law came down there and we all just sobbed in a group hug and watched the mayhem.

    Love my Vikes.

Luckily, they were not in MN last night (it’s was like 0 degrees out and snowing). Somebody probably still jumped into the purified waters of lake Minnetonka to celebrate.

    Edit: Words

Being from Britain, I don’t know that much about American Football. But the pure joy of your team pulling off a last minute victory is obviously a universal emotion. My team, Chelsea, won the European Champions League in 2012. They got absolutely battered for the entire final by the German side Bayern Munich, in Bayern’s own stadium no less, yet managed to stay in the game. Ended up winning on penalties. The final penalty was scored by a guy who had been bought by the club 8 years previously specifically to win this competition. It was his last kick of the ball for the team. If I had a swimming pool, you’d better believe I’d have been in there.

People say Chelsea are the worst team to ever win the Champions League. I could not give less of a shit.

This video brought all that back. I’m a Vikings fan now.

It was crazy. All they needed was a field goal. ‘Diggs’ face when he realized know one was there to tackle him was priceless. Almost unbelievable

Football is the worst thing about the modern age we live in.

You sit around watching people grab each other and throw a ball around. And when one team gets the ball to an end of the field the fans either loose their shit or riot.
Why don’t you go outside and play football? Grab a copy and play madden?

I’ve done more epic shit in my spare time and didn’t get as excited as that. Football fans are just idiots.
