That’d be around 350k per week for the lazy.

    Insane if true.

This includes his signing bonus though doesn’t it?

I would also take it with a pinch of salt for now given Pogba was supposed to be on £290k/week as reported by everyone when he signed and then he turned out to be on £165k/week.

The sign on fee would be spread over the duration of his contract.

Important to note that City have a 56 per cent wage-to-revenue ratio and United have a 50 per cent ratio. This gives them a little more flexibility.

Will the other United players just accept this or would this be a cause for tension in the dressing room?

We probably saved 30-40 on the transfer (Sanchez on a non-expiring contract goes for 60-70 easily) so that should nullify the extra 30 million we’re paying him in wages

I’m starting to have my doubts about this signing. He’s a world class player, but he’s a moody as fuck mercenary who could arguably decline from next season. Is he worth fucking up our wage structure over?

I’m not sure. Would it not make sense to buy a younger player and build for the future as City have done, rather than continually throwing money at our attacking problems?
