MU and Spurs defenders are essential for FPL

Pochettino has really worked a miracle from being a very leaky defence which conceded 4-5 goals against stronger sides to never conceding 3+ goals in league in a year

We gave away 10 pens last season too which is ridiculous. (United 2nd place with just 5)

Hold up, how have Arsenal conceded more per game than us despite conceding fewer goals in the same number of games? That makes no sense.

I’m sick of seeing all these stats of how consistent we are with no title ://

Cheers Mou! His style might not be the most attractive on the eye but after but after Moyes and LVG, this is exactly what we needed. This season is already a huge improvement on the goal scoring front too. Hopefully both trends continue!

It’s the 3+ goals conceded that does it. When we collapse, we collapse harder than any other big team in the world.

I did not realize Arsenal were that close to Liverpool. The way people talk, Liverpool are fucking terrible compared to everyone else.

Shouldn’t the *least* number of goals conceded, the *most* clean sheets, etc. be bolded, rather than the opposite, considering this is showing the top defensive records, not the worst of the top defensive records? Weird.

I’m surprised Arsenal has conceded this many.

It’s just interesting to see how Conte’s Chelsea has brought the title home. They are not 1st when it comes to goals scored, neither first in Defensive records. It’s just that they found the balance to score while defended well when it needed to get 3 points similar to their match against Citeh last year. Absolutely battered in the 1st half, they came up with the win. I would say this year would be very difficult for them, if they put up a fight till the end you have to give it to Conte.

Of course half our goals our either from set pieces or errors. I wouldn’t expect it any other way.

Liverpool really needs to beef up the defense. I’m not buying the current lot are good enough. Matip Clyne And lovren maybe. The rest can all be upgraded and the stats show

Maybe I’m not seeing it, but why isn’t Chelsea to the right of City?

I opened this up thinking it was the 6 best defences and a bit of wee come out when I saw us. Then it dawned it was ‘top 6 m8’

I attribute most of our good defensive work to LVG, the only positive from his time (other than the FA Cup for Rooney and Carrick)
