Stewards blocking the goalposts so Griffiths can’t tie a scarf to them, Rangers defence finally showing up when it really matters!

Celtic did great considering the pitch was as slippy as ice

Celtic still clearly the better team and I was expecting them to win but for 45 minutes we held out well. First goal comes from a poor defensive error and second was well taken and a good pass. Another day Morelos could score and we get a penalty, suppose you could argue about the handball from McCrorie too who by the way played outstanding for his first start.

Well that went better than expected.

There’s all this noise being made about how one-sided the game was, but both goals came from silly defensive mistakes by players who wouldn’t usually be in our first team. Aye, Celtic were definitely the better team, but there’s clear signs of improvement from a Rangers perspective.

Despite the frequent criticism on Gordons comedic attempts at kicking, this game really showed how much calmer he was with the ball than his counterpart which kept the ball in possession rather than giving the opponent a free throw in.

The gap between the two seems to be getting a little bit smaller. Some positive signs for Rangers, in the latter stages of the first half particularly.

Nice way to start a Saturday.

Have to say also that my mind has changed on McGregor. He moves the ball very well and has finishing has increased dramatically. I’m actually happy to see him come on these days.

Class above the rest of Scotland really, great to see the Celtic fans bouncing at Ibrox. Should’ve probably been 3 in the second half, shocking effort from Rangers in defence

Patrick Roberts was a treat to watch today. Nemane looked promising after being subbed in. Always love an Old Firm this time of year

The gap hasn’t closed at all. Not even slightly. Celtic barely got out of second gear and won by two clear goals, and all Rangers could muster was one “chance” and a lot of offside decisions.

We didn’t play great and should have still been well out of sight by the time we scored. Rangers, at their absolute best, are no better than average. Pena and Dorrans were hardly on the same pitch as Armstrong and Brown.

Imagine spending about £7m just to finish 2nd/3rd in the Scottish Premiership. We weren’t even firing on all cylinders and still strolled through them.

Foderingham was actually comical, anyone got his pass completion rate?

Better than last season. Celtic looked shaky before they scored and relaxed into it. We made too many simple defensive mistakes and struggled to make our moves forward count. Lessons need to be learned

Superb in the second half. Armstrong repaying Brendan’s faith in starting him over Ntcham. Roberts was great too and seems to have improved so much in 2017. Great fans. Crap pitch.
