The goal has put us into the fourth round of the competition for the first time in our history, which is a great show of how well our academy is doing in producing capable young footballers.

We’ve got either Colchester or Crewe next, and both teams, especially Crewe, are good at youth level as well, so it’ll be a good test, but I feel confident in our boys, especially since Asonganyi is set to return for the next game – for those who don’t know, Dylan Asonganyi is one of the best forwards in the Football League at academy level, scoring over a goal per game this season, and showing off some ridiculous flair when dribbling, which has garnered interest from the likes of Manchester United.

The way they all run away together to celebrate is really making me laugh, especially the free kick taker with his arms out. Looks exactly like those early, isometric FIFA games. I love celebrations that aren’t planned, where you just go mental and have no clue how to express your joy because you never thought you’d score.
