Perhaps some kind of shooting practice in training may help?

I’ve witnessed Salah miss quite a few gimme’s. Firmino tends to pass when he has a shot and someone just blasts it.

actually many of that shots are taken from crazy distance/angles, where there are better solutions. Just watch post-match shots diagramms and you’ll see it. And yeah, Salah. He don’t think at all.

Yet everyone seems convinced our drop in form is the defences fault.

Don’t get me wrong we are utter shite at defending but when you can’t put the ball in the back of the net with that many shots you can’t blame the defence.

sick of seeing Firmino up front, the excuse for his lack of goals from our fans is his build up play and except that one games against Arsenal/Watford this season he’s been poor at everything. he isn’t close to being as essential to our system as is made out either, amongst our best two games last season were the win against Chelsea and the 4-0 thrashing of West Ham and he didn’t play in either of them

we’ve got pace merchants for days but our finishing has to improve if we want to win anything

love firmino but its obvious he is not a 9

salah is also not a great finisher either. if he was he’d be world class because he’s got every other tool

coutinho is the only person who consistently gives us goals from midfield. eveyone else is a wash

Liverpool have to go for striker of Cavani’s calibre. Test the waters and see if he can be unsettled after the whole Neymar fiasco.

There opponents have been clinical too.

Pretty football dont mean shit if you cant defend especially when you go through a patch of also struggling to score. I would have taken Klopp over Mourinho before he came, shows how much i know the former cant operate in the transfer market in an effective manner. They have the exact same issues as last year while spending over £100m in the window.

Could we please try Salah on the left and Mane on the right? This cut-in stuff doesn’t work at all. Let Salah use his strong foot for crosses and shooting instead of setting him up in a position where he must get past/lure half the opp. defensive line just the get a shot off. Mane was beast on the right side last season.
