Might also be relevant that after this run only Leicester got more points than us until the end of the season

I don’t think Koeman has a lot of time left at Everton. If he doesn’t turn it around by Christmas then he’s probably getting the sack.

For any Southampton fans who can recall this period, why was the team suffering these results?

    Tactics? Injuries?

Gentle reminder to some of our fans to take it easy as well.

That run was truly dreadful and the football as bad as anything we saw under Puel or now and we still turned it around.

    Pellegrino deserves some patience.

Last year beating Arsenal ended our worst spell of form as well

That was the game where Szczesny smoked in the showers afterwards, right?

Back then he still had a star striker like Pelle to turn things around.

Now he has old man Rooney and a complete non-footballer Klaassen

Wouldn’t his mid season form the last couple years at Everton be the relevant thing?

God, we were all calling for him to drop Pelle for like a month. Finally he is injured and then he brings in Shane Long who rips Arsenal apart. A couple days later, Pelle plays again. Took a while for him to put some confidence in Long, and we finished the season so well.

It was an odd season though.

He looks so happy with himself even though the form is filled with L’s.

Looks like Koeman’s mid-season form with Valencia. Except it never got any better.
