One thing that bugs me is that they turned on auto-brightness then removed it from the Display and Brightness section to put it General, Accessibility and then Display Accommodations, because that makes sense.

Don’t forget the notifications that you can’t clear! And the size 30 font reminding you that you’re currently looking at your messages

Luckily I ran out of storage months ago. At least iPhone doesn’t constantly ask me to update now.

Haven’t experienced all the issues above…but there’s one bug that really bugs me (pun not intended):
Whenever I click on a contact then hit “message”, it opens up messages but doesn’t start a thread with that contact filled in.
    It’s annoying AF!

You forgot that it breaks almost all connections to corporate email systems forcing your company to either abandon the iPhone or spend large sums of money upgrading their infrastructure.

I knew this was going to be worse than the others when a dozen different API developers all emailed me at the same time a day before the release to warn me that my week was going to be hell.

“But planned obsolescence is stupid you neckbeard here have my downvote”.

After iOS 11 my iPhone 6s started having app hiccups, minor touchID crashes and crazy battery draining. I’m staring to think that phone updates aren’t that useful anymore.

I have a seven plus. On the plus side, I do like the option for single handed texting although not a reason to upgrade to iOS 11 yet. My phone has frozen twice since I downloaded the update. Battery life still sucks.

My Nexus 6 is almost 3 years old, still better than most phones and got the Oreo update last week (before most Android models). The phone cost me $400 and it’s incredible. I really don’t understand how people can be suckered into paying for this shit.

LPT: if you want to try the upgrade, back up your phone to iTunes first so you can go back.

Also the new swipe up is all rearranged and annoying.

Anyone else’s phone refuse to lock during a phone call while you’re on speaker or headset? I’ve been on beta for a few weeks and was hoping it would be fixed with the official update but it seems it’s not a common issue.

Hm, iOS 11 has been pretty great so far on my SE. A few graphical hiccups here and there but no major issues.

We haven’t even talked about the fact that there are apps that iOS 11 will “not be compatible with”, because they simply don’t want to accommodate for them.

    Goodbye flappy bird.. rip.

Apple is an absolute stitch-up factory and everyone knows it. It really baffles me that people will knowingly sacrifice usability instead of learning something new, which doesn’t involve intentional obselesence by design (i.e. a non-apple platform)

That’s nothing! The latest Windows Phone patch just straight up killed the camera app for several Nokia users. Now, when I want to take a picture the pictures are eternally “Applying the finishing touches”, which means I can see them in my library but can’t share them.

And after I’ve taken 10 pictures or so, it will refuse to take more pictures until I reboot!
