In short, yes. Soccer is the biggest sport in the world. I’m from Canada and almost purely bet on footy across the globe.

If I was you ide wait until the world cup kicks off, no doubt everyone around the globe will be thinking about soccer.

Being from Canada soccer is not as popular as hockey or American football of course. (Same as USA I’m certain) But when the world cup is on people get soccer fever, guys start playing FIFA on a daily basis parties in the streets etc.

US bettor here for 4+ years. I’ve come to follow the major leagues and thus bet on them most weekends. With that said, I think I am a minority. Most of my buddies don’t know much about soccer (even MLS) and are much more familiarized with American leagues during soccer season like the NBA and NFL and NCAA sports. Thus, they bet and follow those instead. So there are some bettors, but not too many.

This could generate a good userbase. Many of my friends whom are also soccer/futbol fans have an interest in sportsbetting, although the number of hoops to jump through sounds complicating for a majority of them. I think your game could interest this crowd for sure

Always liked the sound of this idea, never came across it, but always thought of it myself.

I’m from the uk, I’d so have a blast if something like this was available for me .

The biggest obstacle is getting money into an account here in the US, I use 5Dimes and I had to essentially launder money through bitcoin.

I don’t mind at all! I’d rather have my friend as my bookie and just do it all through him. Keeps it simple, easy payments, and have friends on the same book.

Americans are not familiar with soccer betting at all. Soccer is probably fifth in popularity and betting isn’t main stream because of the hoops you have to jump through. Also, soccer betting has some intricacies that we don’t see in other sports. The three way result, bets only counting regular time and also AH’s.

Serious betters probably bet on soccer but I’d guess the majority of casual betters in the US focus on NFL and NCAAF
