In this episode was a hint, that Jamie is going to kill Cersei. When they are standing on the map of Westeros. Jamie is standing on "The Fingers" and Cersei on "The Neck". In Cerseis prophecy it is said, that she is going to be killed by her younger brother. She assumes that it must be Tyrion, but as this scene shows, it probably will be Jamie.

I think what changes Arya's mind is the fact that all the lannister men are talking about family and how they havent seen them in a long time. This will make her want to go north and see her family before going south to kill Cersei.

This was a set-up episode. They really can't afford it, with so few episodes, but I guess they were determined to make it so here it is! Some thoughts; Arya has been slowly losing her humanity the more she kills. I think the purpose of the piece with the Lannister soldiers was to show her that not all people, even Lannisters, are bad. This may be the trigger that turns her north or it may simply be something that will cause her to spare some lives down the road, unlike what she did to the Freys. Shame she left Uncle Edmure behind! The other part that really got to me was Jon's moment in the big conference. Besides trying to do his best to keep as many houses in the fold as possible, I think his main reason was to show that the north is NOT like the south! Everybody knows the Lannister Song & what it represents. I think Jon wanted to show everybody that the north can & will forgive treasons as long as the responsible lords pay the ultimate price. This is again where stupid Sansa uses the wrong lessons that she even admitted she learned from Cersei. Ned Stark tought his sons well, but did not teach his daughters & both have gone down a very bloody path based on what they have experienced & been taught by the wrong sort of people. It might be the death of both of them. These were the parts of the episode that stuck out to me.

I think it will be interesting to see if Tyrion utilizes his knowledge of the tunnels (again) to the advantage of their army in attacking the Red Keep.

Season 6 when we were in Bravos with Arya, and you saw her training. Why didn't we see scenes that explained more about how the powers or magic behind taking people's faces and putting them on worked? No explanation to how she gains their body shape, their voice. I don't care how good of an impersonator you are… This made no sense without some explanation. And The writers and producers gave us none… This is why I didn't feel anything from this scene. There was not enough backstory to build up for this moment becoming an actualization of Arya killing the Freys. Also, no explanation to how Arya kills the 2 sons in the end of Season 6 and has the time to cut them up into a pie… This show is throwing realistic scenes out the window. And don't even get me started on how poor of a job they do on timeframes and how they treat how time is shown in the show. End of season 6, Euron commands his men to build a thousand ships.. What seems like a day later, he sails to King's Landing with his ships that look newly built… Are the writers just getting lazy? What is going on?!

I completely share your sentiment witnessing the night kings army during season 1. That shit was down right terrifying ! Something about seeing a powerful creature such as a giant as powerful and imposing as they are, be turned into a mindless husk. Walking pile of meat. I took it as a revelation from the writers that even us, the viewers .. are not ready for winter.
Also did you notice that the Giant on the left is carrying something ? Looks like a bow maybe. Predicting that one of Daenerys dragons will die this season. And will die by being pierced/impaled with an arrow from a Wight Giant. Then we will get an even more terrifying scene of said dragon swarmed by Wights after being brought down only to be raised by the Nights King.

If Arya becomes Jamie does she get the gold hand and if so is it going to throw her off her game being somewhat crippled?

It was a good episode. not great but they picked up the pace last season so I expected them to have high speed internet by now but I think with more lines they have now it shows who the good actors are and who are not… Jon & Sansa= so rehearsed it was terrible.. Arya=awesome actress! Hound=amazing as well… Bre just has a disgust look now that won't leave her face. when a boy has a crush on you do you just give him ugly looks all the time your face gets stuck that way? Davos and Tyrion= no lines… WTF them coming together is not making it better when only two people are doing the talking… Sam and Bran did good. Also Euron's acting got better when he got to act with Cersei she is always the best of everyone!

Ive been wondering…are we sure that Gendry's mother was just a tavern woman? I was thinking that Gendry mentioned his mother had blonde hair and Cersie mentions losing her Baratheon son. What if they thought he died but he was really still alive?

So aggravated that the Twins and the Bridge, which is the cause of the Red Wedding, was ignored last night. Freys are dead so who's in charge of the Bridge is of military logistical importance. Plot Holes. Also, where is Edmure? Who had the Bridge the Tully army or will the Lannisters have enough time to recover the Bridge. Why was Ed so suspicious of Bran? Made no sense.Davos lived at Dragonstone he knew Dragonglass was at the castle, Sam didn't need to discover that.Sansa knows better than to dispute Jon publicly. Bad writing. We didn't need five minutes of Sam and shit bowls. Jamie knows the Bridge is unmanned, he didn't mention sending men to get the Bridge. Showrunners so desperate for cameos they make up scenes that make no sense and don't move the plot anywhere.

Just curious what you think about whether or not Edmure Tully is still being held prisoner? Is he with the Lannisters? Was he there at the twins? Would arya have known he was in the dungeon? If so, why wouldn't she free him….is Edmure Tully's story arc done altogether in the show?

I wonder if "Grey Scale" (Jorah's disease) has some connection to "Dragon Stone".  It looks almost like dragon scales – and he's associate with Dany… maybe it gives immunity to White Walkers somehow?

9:20 Archmaester Marwyn's talk about "every winter ended" is misdirection.  He's NOT really saying "The Wall will stand forever".  He's hinting about his knowledge in HIS BOOKS?  The White Walker goal is not total obliteration.  The White Walkers want WHAT WAS PROMISED to them – They don't want Undeath – they want true LIFE (HINT HINT) a life created by both ice AND fire.  HMMM, WHO COULD THAT BE?  Jon Snow, perhaps?

hey so I've got a weird theory… seeing as Arya is headed to Westeros, to try to kill Cersie… most ppl are saying she wont do it… or she can't because she isn't the valonqar… but maybe she is… you know how she is referred to thay by her other siblings because of her tomboyish waysss…
