In a series built around undead armies, flying dragons, and blood magic, the most unbelievable events might just be based on mundane travel. The size of Westeros and timeline of Game of Thrones have always been somewhat ambiguous and questionable, but season 7 has really shed a blaring spotlight on some possible timeline issues.

"Six and a half feet tall, he towered over lesser men, and when he donned his armour and the great antlered helmet of his House, he bevame a veritable giant."
(George R.R. Martin. Game Of Thrones, 35)
Then again it they could have also upped the measurements, though that would mean the wall is twice as large as well….took a minute to find this, Just wanted to poke fun, but I really do enjoy your video's keep on keepin on

…….don't blame George, he's not the one to blame. He gave the writer's an outline for what he wants to happen for the next couple books, and they roll with it, and do what they can before their deadlines to make this show. They're worked to the bone to keep up with tbe demand, and have to make a script in a matter of months for the show.

Or maybe days on westeros are longer than the days on earth? Or maybe the westerosi "foot" measurement is half the length of a real world foot?

When you compare the two castles (10:43) you say that the walls of winterfell are 80 ft. tall. But you say that is the same as 128.74 KILOMETERS. Like 128.000 meters. I can tell you right here, without calculating the exact number of meters, that that is NOT 80 ft.

well goerge didn't write that scene, this came after the 5th book so he had nothing to do with season 7 and the show has gone so far from the books already don't blame the writer

Couldn't a forenight just mean quick or soon? Relative to the world, that could be a month or more.

The heights of many characters are mentioned somewhere in the books. While they are taller than normal people, they aren't 2x as tall.

Why can't we just admit that Game of thrones is fantasy and Science doesn't apply here, all that teleportation and the size theory you just gave is a desperate attempt to force logic on something which doesn't follow science. The teleportation thingy is just to cover up the mess caused due to poor planning in the start of the series. This isn't Breaking Bad which has to follow everything scientifically. The creators just wish to wind up the show quickly that's the only logic here.

Just a hunch, but maybe when Sercy was talking about the whole "give me a fortnight" thing, maybe she was talking about how long it would take to occupy Highgarden, with all other operations being part of the post-occupation events. It's also plausible that she was talking only about the time needed to loot and deliver the gold to King's Landing, with – once again – all other factors being deliberately downplayed as happening like clockwork.
