They should sample every letter, voice, word, and facial expression of Sir Attenborough and keep him alive forever as a machine. He should be the official documentary narrator from here till the end of time.

“Oh! Mr. DNA! Where did _you_ come from?”

All I can think of when watching Attenborough interact with nonexistent CGI.

I’ll watch it later, but just to comment on this:

the british national history museum is an amazing place. should you ever get to london, I can highly recommend a visit, there are some really amazing things on display, and the best part: it’s completely free. no entrance fee at all (because apparently that’s some sort of law in the UK? that certain types of museums must be free to visit? maybe a brit can help me out here)

Whenever I hear his name or his voice I always think of John Hammond, AKA Richard Attenborough, and that is because they are brothers. This is perfect because it’s about dinosaurs.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Hyde Park and chose stuff at random to go visit. The Natural History Museum blew me away at how great it was, and David Attenborough is my favorite, so this is really an exciting video for me to queue up.

I recently had a dream about Sir David Attenborough dying and legitimately when I woke up, my inner monologue said “nope. Fuck you, self. I’m not entertaining your fuck shit today.” Love me some David Attenborough! I wonder if he knows how many hallucinogenic realms he has guided me through.

Just came here to say that Sir David is a legend. Going to be a sad day when he’s gone. Has he done an AMA yet? I think I requested one a while ago, on a diff account perhaps.

I’ll be damned if I don’t absolutely love the majority of his shows.

Ive always thought this would be a good idea; get David Attenborough to make a documentary on a fantasy world such as the harry potter universe. He could be portray an old Newt Scamander making an informative documentary on magical beasts. Id watch it anyway.

People always talk about recording his voice for posterity/reuse but honestly I wish the BBC would just take our license fee and allow him to create the greatest nature documentary anthology before he passes. Something with a budget akin to modern film or GoT.

This was made in 2014, it was one of my son’s favourite films when he was tiny.

I don’t care if they replace Dippy with a blue whale, a giraffe or the Millenium Falcon, nothing will ever be as magical as walking through the doors and seeing her there.

But then I saw this video talk of disputes between Darwin and the founder of the natural museum. googled Richard Owen and evolution. And it all makes sense now.
