And the Nacho Man threw some shade at the Cubs still haha.

As a Cubs fan, this is a great rivalry. It’s also pretty wholesome between the fans compared to other Chicago rivalries.

I feel bad for the other person who Russell got the handful of cheese sauce from. They didn’t get a new plate only the guy that had it knocked onto the field got the replacement.

To everyone saying Nachoman is rejecting the handshake, notice that’s he’s actually taking the time to transfer the nachos to the other hand before shaking with his right hand. Otherwise he would just be smashing his new nachos into Addy’s hand and genuinely look like an idiot.

I have never seen a baseball game ever before because I’m an Indian living in India. But if I ever get to come to America, the first thing I’m gonna do is go for a baseball game.

I don’t really follow baseball, but it seems that in that sport more than others, there is a real tradition of good deeds and good will between players and fans. Like they really see each other as people rather than just athletes and seat fillers.

I rewatched the gif so many times just for the beginning where Russel slow runs graciously with the nachos in hand. Something about a world class athlete delivering nachos to a fan puts a smile on my face.

Time after time professional baseball players always deliver the most wholesome fan experiences.

I’ve never seen more (positive) fan & athlete interactions occur in any sport than baseball. Surely none as personal as this for example.

Watched it the first time and thought it was a nice gesture and I smiled. The second time it rolled, I paid particular attention to the people surrounding them. Look. At. Them. With. Their. Phones. We are really after turning into an annoying generation.
