They have embraced the meme. They’re just going to hoard footballers.

    “Come, come, whoever you are,
    wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving,
    it doesn’t matter.
Ours is not a caravan of despair.
Come, even if you have broken your vow a hundred times.
    Come, come again, come.”

    Jalaluddin Mevlana Rumi

I thought it’d be dumb, but that was actually really cool.

Fine job, they’ve done with it, despite the random typo.

    Hundered/Hundred, would watch again.

Remember when Galatasaray were the biggest club from Turkey, they were a right bunch of arseholes. Besiktas seem like a fine bunch.

Wow, It exceeds my expectations. Fikret Orman has some great ideas for this club and I’m really glad that he’s in charge.

We had f*cking Demirören before this man, It’s a dream come true.

It’s a quote by Mevlana ( better known internationally as Rumi).

He was a medieval Persian poet from Afghanistan, that lived most of his life in Konya, Turkey.

He’s a huge national figure in Turkey, his quotes are hung up on huge banners and posters in small towns in rural Turkey ( at least I can attest this for inner Aegean Rural towns near Izmir).

He has a prevalence in the culture of other Persian influenced countries as well, such as Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Pakistan, and I would imagine other Turkic countries like Azerbaijan and the Turkic ‘stans.

I might just be salty that they’re luring away Cyle Larin (although he wants to go and it’s time for him to go somewhere besides MLS), and I know they didn’t write the words, but the breaking the vows bit is a little too on the nose right now
