If Man Utd pull this off and then sign Ozil in the summer, Arsenal Fan TV might implode.

Will United still go after Griezmann in the summer after this (possibly by selling Mkhi and/or someone like Mata)?

Would be really nice if Arsenal weren’t complete mugs for once and don’t strengthen their competition.

Can anyone tell me why Arsenal is keep selling their best players to their rivals? I don’t think they need money considering all those income they recieve every ear. They aren’t Luton Town or something. We are talking about one of the richest clubs in the world.

The best thing is he’s not cup-tied in the CL, so we can use him. That’s probably the main reason we want him.

I’ve still got my green and gold scarf, I was very anti-Glazer and reading the numbers it’s still not great. But the money has been there to spend to compete and we’ve enjoyed success and with commercial success it looks like the long-run will pay-off.

Pogba and Lukaku prove that, and prior with Moyes & LVG I’m glad they weren’t handed the keys to the treasury; getting Martial was great and we lost bugger all on Di Maria so really the big spending has been controlled.

When was the last time Arsenal pursued a big-money player though? When was the last time someone chose them over another club offering higher wages? Players are leaving for less $ and that must impact others.

They’ve got to sort this or they’re gonna become a Top10 team challenging for the EL and begging for a return of the old safe 4th place finish, and that’s a slippery slope particularly with other teams spending with all the cash available.

hmmmmmm. A world class player for 35 million? YES PLEASE. This is exactly what we need. Someone that can break down teams that sit back and defend with 10 players in the 18 yard box.

    He’s worth the wages.

Man Utd bring in £11.1m per week. Yes 400k wages for Sanchez is a lot, and it would probably be annoying for people like Pogba and Lukaku to know they are earning significantly less (reportedly around 250-300k a week) but in the grand scheme of things it’s very little compared to what any other (near?) world class talent would cost you today. I’d be very happy to see Sanchez come in to the team, I’m sure he could do a great job for us and get a lot of game time.
