Remember when Ancelotti said that everyone could walk the league with Bayern? Would be very embarassing to not win it now, huh?

Its fate. Bayern’s form indicates to me they will finish 3rd in their group then get drawed to Arsenal in EL.

Seems to be a lot of “First time Bayern have done something in 10 years” under Carlo and none of them seem to be good.

As it currently stands, he’s leaving the team in worse shape then when he got it. Can’t say he’s done anything so far that 90% of managers could have achieved.

I don’t see what he’s giving us that we can’t find elsewhere.

Fun fact: Boateng was playing for the other team then.

[Match in question](https://imgur.com/Pmf4aan) was against Hamburg.

That’s some fucking time travel right there.

Bayern was clearly resting players for Tuesday today. We are playing better than we were earlier in the season we just happened to give up one shit goal and failed to capitalize on some good opportunities. People are over reacting

Pep can only work with teams stacked with talent, apparently, but there’s no secret both those teams declined drastically after he left. Okay, Barca were pretty unfortunate with Tito, but then Tata was a disaster. And Bayern just look absolutely lifeless. They shouldn’t be, but they’re dull to watch, as if all Pep’s offensive structure is gone.

God, I want to keep him forever. But when he does decide to go, I hope he maintains his friendship with those behind the scenes and has a huge say in his successor. Taking over from Pep is the easy bit, building on the foundations he puts in and taking over players who improved immensely under his tutelage should not be as difficult as others are making it seem.

I feel like this is the weakest Bayern team since 2012.

Robben and Ribery are aging, and they are still super dependent on them. Lahm retired, Alonso retired, Costa gone, Alaba and Thiago get injured frequently. If Lewandowski gets injured they’re in big trouble.

I guess this goes in cycles, in Pep’s first year they looked absolutely untouchable for most of the season until Madrid bent them over.

why is Ancelotti getting so much hate? yes they havent gotten better with him. but I doubt theres a manager in the world that can put bayern OVER THE TOP, i think they’ve stagnated and its not due to managerial work. I don’t think Bayern has gone to shit or average with him at the helm. Bayner want to win the CL not just another domestic title. thats why they fucking hired the guy!!
